Tanah Lot means “Land in Middle of the Sea” in Balinese language. The famous temple, Pura Tanah Lot is a rock formed temple. During high tide, the temple is sepearated from the land and stands in the middle of the sea.

The Tanah Lot is a famous spot for sunset view. Many tourists will sit along the cliff to take the sunset photo with the Pura Tanal Lot temple. The silhouette of the temple with the red sky in the background create a perfect sunset view.
