You can find many luxurious hotels and budget bed and breakfast accommodations in Jasper area.

Among the Hotel Resorts, you can choose to stay within the Jasper Town area or near scenic spot. If you are not driving, staying near the Jasper town will be a better option, as it will be more convenient for you to access the restaurants and other facilities. There are many hotel resorts within the Jasper town area, price ranging from $100 to over $400 a night, depending on the type of room and also the season. Summer is the peak season and therefore the prices will be of the peak as well, while in winter, price can drop by half. If you are planning to visit the Canadian Rockies in the summer, do book your accommodation early. Booking online is one best option. And when you book early, you may be able to get “early bird discount”. We found that the room rate had gone up as the date came closer to our departure date, to as high as 10% more.

Among the resorts that are within the Jasper town area, Pyramid Lake Resort Hotel is one of my favourite. It is located close to the center of Jasper town and it is quite luxurious. I think this is one of the higher end resort in Jasper town. The mid to lower range resorts will be Chateau Hotel Jasper and Maligne Lodge Jasper. All of them are within the Jasper town vicinity. If you want to be closer to scenic spot and stay further from the crowd (especially during summer), then Sunwapta Falls Resort Hotel will be one to consider. It is just about 1 km from the Sunwapta waterfall. Other than the scenic view, you can enjoy biking, fishing and white water rafting. Fairmont Park Lodge is another option. It faces the Columbia Icefield and the Athabasca Glacier is in close proximity. Don’t miss the Brewster’s Ice Age Adventure, and tour onto the icy slopes of the Athabasca Glacier.
