| Canadian Rockies Photos taken from the Train |
From Vancouver, taking the east bound train to Jasper National Park, you will pass by many bridges and tunnels. Along side you will get to see numerous lakes, rivers and mountain ranges. You will also pass by various water ways to the Canadian Rockies. The train will pass by Kamloops then to Jasper Town. You can continue the train journey to Banff or you can choose to stop at Jasper. As the train approaching the Canadian Rockies, you can notice the terrain changes. The river and lake change color from greenish, to milky green and to bluish color. The vegetation change from common low ground trees and grasses to pine trees. You can observe that the mountain ranges is getting higher than the tree line. Some are still cover with snow or glacier and mountain peaks peter through cloud. After the Pyramid Fall, the train will bring you to Mount Robson, the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies.
