The Canadian Rockies span across Alberta and British Columbia states of Canada. The Mountain Ranges, Icefields, Water Falls, Rivers and Lakes are spectacular. Some of the famous landmarks include Lake Louise, Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, Columbia Icefield, Athabasca Falls, Maligne Canyon and Maligne Lake.

Apart from the scenic views, there are also wildlifes that you may bum into. Black bear, grizzly bear, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, and elk are some of the species that you may get to see when hiking in the various National Parks in the Canadian Rockies ranges.

There are a few National Parks in the Canadian Rockies area. Jasper, Banff, Yoho and Waterton Lakes are examples of the National Parks. Among them Jasper and Banff National Parks are the more popular among tourists.
